We've asked our team to explain to you what compassionate ABA means to us: ​

MKS is both trauma considerate and holistic in our approach being human first, this means:

1. We are considerate of learner's own limitations and ability to withdraw their assent to a situation, looking for both vocal and nonvocal cues of disengagement.

2. We are respectful to learner's choice also ensuring safety for all involved, encouraging self empowerment, building and maintaining an authentic relationship throughout our services.

3. We listen and we teach that is most meaningful. We teach skills to build self advocacy skills, establish learner's boundaries, acknowledge and validate their life experiences, and provide the learner with a voice that is heard and valued.​
