​About Mighty Kidz Services

Mighty Kidz Services of the Carolinas is a trauma-assumed, inclusive therapy provider dedicated to helping neurodivergent children grow, connect, and thrive. We specialize in assent-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and speech therapy (SC), offering compassionate care that prioritizes the dignity, safety, and individuality of every child.

We believe that when kidz are supported with empathy and respect, they become their mightiest selves—capable, confident, and connected to their communities.

Our Approach: Compassionate, Whole-Child Centered Care

All MKS programs are grounded in a compassionate care model. Our goal is to support children as they move toward less restrictive settings, fully equipped to meet life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.

We break through barriers by:

• Using trauma-responsive, neurodiversity-affirming practices

• Centering each child’s voice and choices through assent-based therapy

• Focusing on connection over compliance and relationships over routines

• Creating fun, supportive, and inclusive environments where kidz feel safe to explore and grow

Our Services Include:

 School & Community Services

We support kidz where they live and learn:

• In-school ABA services (availability based on school placement)

• 504/IEP support by a BCBA (private pay consultation also available)

• After-school community programs 

• Summer camps (if allowed)

• COMING SOON: Adaptive Pickle Ball monthly event! 

Our Clinic Programs

Emerging Learners Program (18 months – 3 years)

A foundational program that targets early communication, regulation, and social engagement

• SC Babynet approved: ASD diagnosis not required for this program if receiving early intervention services, please contact your EI for a referral.

• Focused on development through play and connection!

Early Learners Program (3 – 5 years)

Designed to foster:

• Emotional regulation

• Continued development of play skills and pre-academic learning

• Social interaction and pre-requisites for group learning  

*This program builds the skills needed for success in the next stage: Our School Readiness Program

School Readiness Learners Program (4 – 8 years*)

Supports academic, social, and behavioral success by targeting:

• Executive functioning

• Group learning skills and approaches to learning

• Transitions and routines

• Social Emotional Development 

Please note that this is not a homeschool program at this time.
An initial assessment will be conducted to determine developmental readiness and/or prerequisite needs.

If you choose to continue with ABA services after your child turns 6 years old instead of enrolling in a traditional school program, please ensure you follow all applicable state laws regarding educational documentation and homeschooling requirements

After School Individual ABA Therapy Services (Ages 5+)

Tailored 1:1 ABA therapy provided after school hours to meet the needs of children who:

• Attend an educational setting during the day

• Benefit from focused support in daily living skills, social emotional learning, and communication.

• Benefit from consistent, individualized intervention

• Benefit from building meaningful connections and relationships with peers.

IEP accommodations of bus transportation is possible if in same school district*​​

With our recent expansion, MKS is proud to offer space and scheduling accommodations for partner therapy providers, subject to availability.
